About the Designer

Steven May: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; Steven has been working with metal since 2006 and started Silver Wolf in 2010. His interest in metal work led him to persue a Bachelor’s Degree in Metals at Arizona State University. The techniques he learned at ASU led him to start incorporating different techniques in his artwork and use ancient designs in new ways. Steven has been recognized for his metal work in City Weekly Best of Utah in 2012 and has had work shown in Arizona State University 2013 juried undergrad exhibition. He hopes to continue to explore medieval armor smithng and incorporate it into his artwork.
